Coastal Carolina Fair 2008

During Haloween week the Coastal Carolina Fair comes to the fair grounds in Ladson. We haven't been to the fair since Jade's Junior year in high school when we worked the Hanahan Band Booster's fair booth, but that all changed this year. Alex is now old enough to enjoy the animals, which I can't rember seeing before and the lights. Jack just took it all in. We were suppose to go Wednesday but the weather was yucky. Thursday night Grandma and Granddaddy Stuckey met us at the Fair and walked around with us. We ate at the Hanahan Band Boosters fair booth. We have to support the home school. After eating, we wnet and visited the animals. We then we went as a family on the Carosel, Jack held on and didn't want to get off and Alex laughed so excited. After the Carosel Alex and Mommy rode the Tea Cup ride and then Daddy and Alex road the kid faris wheel. After that it was time to eat and elephant ear and head home. It was a beautiful evening.

Visit With Jade

Jade was home for Fall Break. Scott's Birthday was Sunday so Jade had dinner with us on Monday for Scott's Birthday. I was trying to take a picture of Jackson and Alex decided she wanted hers taken. Then Jade took the camera and started taking pictures.

Alex has a Wintrop shirt. She knows it is Sissy's School Shirt and we love to wear it and can even find it in the drawer by herself.

A visit with some special friends

Thursday afternoon I got a call from Donald and said he Mary Beth and Charley were going to be in town to visit with family and wanted to see if we could get together. So, Saturday afternoon the three of them showed up at our house. We had been telling Alex that Baby Charley or Baby Charlotte Rose was coming. Alex was very sweet and gentle with Charley. It was really good to meet Charley and spend some time with Donald and Mary Beth. We took a picture of the kids in age and size order it was really sweet. Its is really intresting that Jackson, Charley and Jrew Rose will all be in the same grade. Well Scott and I will be married 5 years in 3 weeks. Donald was a reader at our weding. I did not give out the bridal party gifts at the rehersal as I got sick and Donald took me and my mom home. I have had Donald's gift in our closet for almost 5 years but was able to finally rember that I had it and he need to get it. It was great to see the Spann's and hope to see them again soon.

Salon Bath

I went to get my hair cut on Friday afternoon and Jack was with me. He was really quiet the whole time and slept in my arms. Aunt Melissa had another Client in the shop and she held Jack while I had my hair cut. I pick him up to put him in his seat and he throw up all over me, himself and the floor. Aunt Melissa had to give him a salon bath he really enjoyed it.

4th of July

Celebrating July 4th!!

This July 4th was a little different than last. We did not have the boat as it was at the boat doctor finding out what needed to be fixed. So we headed north to Gastona, NC to see the extended Stuckey Clan. It started with Grandmomma and Gradaddy Stuckey following from our house to Rock Hill, SC to stop and see Jade's house. It looks really nice the way they have it set up.
Then we went to Lunch with Jade. After Lunch we headed to Uncle Chris' house.


We ate dinner then headed out Lake Whiley to ride on Uncle Chris' boat and see the fireworks on the lake. After the boat ride we we back to Uncle Chris' house and went to bed. Alex said she wanted her room and didnt understand us sleeping over. It was a really nice day.

Jade's room all moved in...

Jade sent us some pictures of her room and house now that she is all moved in. It really looks nice. What amazed Scott and I is the girls TV...I wish we had one of those when I was in college.
